Another update on the Green Scare (or here in German): Eric McDavid was sentenced to 19 years and 7 months in jail for allegedly planning to “destroy property by means of fire or explosives”. He didn’t even do anything – but the Thoughtcrime was enough, apparently…
Damn. A few years ago, you could get that much for really blowing up stuff (23 years for blowing up some cars – completely reasonable. Think of it, these cars had families, too), now you get the same for thinking about doing it.
